I believe it is important to surround yourself with good people and Lauren Molinaro is a great person who knows a lot of great people in the housing business (attorney's, loan agents, home inspection people, you name it) which made our shopping and buying process quick and easy. From the first phone call, connecting with Lauren was excellent. She is super responsive to all forms of communication and responds by text, my preferred method of communication, very quickly. In the first phone call she answered all my questions about being a first time home buyer and gave me a great overview of what the process would be like. She listened really well and really sought to understand our budget, dreams, and needs. The thing I liked most perhaps is how she is so knowledgeable and gives great information without being pushing or steering us at all. She explained the Covid market we were shopping in and how it compared with a regular market which I found helpful and interesting. When I needed help finding an attorney and getting a loan she had a menu of recommendations and always told us to do our own research as well, and I did, but each time after talking on the phone to all my and her options, I always found her options to be the ones I felt most comfortable with and was happy I went with them. When it came to looking at houses, Lauren set up an email alert for us that would send us houses daily in the areas we were looking at. Since we were in a rush because of the baby, we also kept doing a lot of searching for houses ourselves online. She was super quick and accommodating to looking at houses on our schedule and within two weeks we had probably seen over 20 houses, and put a bid in one one we really wanted. Walking through houses Lauren had a keen eye and was able to explain the pros and cons of different house features and quality of construction. Even after our bid was accepted, Lauren was with us every step of the way through home inspection, all the attorney review stuff and closing. Also, she had some great book recommendations for being a new parent. Needless to say, I can't say enough positive things about our experience shopping for and buying a house with Lauren.
